The Maverick from DragRace Concepts is our top tier chassis for No Prep Drag Racing. The Maverick is not just another chassis, it is first step in of our total package for No Prep Drag Racing. Our new line of Outlaw bodies was specifically designed around the Maverick chassis. This combination of chassis and body designs provides racers with the most cohesive platform in No Prep Drag Racing. The Maverick platform is the cumulation of over 1 year of track testing and development by our Team Racers across the country.
The Maverick features the maximum legal length wheelbase of 13.5” for better stability at speed and more front-end weight bias. The 3mm carbon fiber chassis features an hourglass shape design that allows the center of the chassis to flex vertically under load creating an arching effect. This arching effect helps keep both the front and rear end planted on the track surface and allows for more aggressive power delivery during a run.
The Maverick utilizes our Kingpin laydown transmission. The Kingpin transmission has a 2.6 gear ratio and utilizes all 7075 T6 hard coated internal gears and top shaft. Heat treated steel outdrives and a 4mm carbon fiber motor plate can handle the hottest of 4-pole set ups.
The Maverick suspension features 67mm front and 71mm rear injection molded a-arms. Aluminum front castor blocks with adjustable castor inserts allow for easy front-end adjustment. The transmission mount features an elevated rear a-arm position to allows the chassis to be set up with an extremely low ride height for high traction conditions. The transmission mount raises the transmission to keep the CVD and camber link aligned with the rear a-arms to reduce any driveline vibration. The suspension is finished off with Titanium Hinge Pins and our lightweight Super Flow Shocks.
The Maverick features our adjustable flat wheelie bar that is set at the maximum legal length. Our “Big Wheel” molded wheelie bar will ensure your car stays on track unlike unreliable O-ring and rubber wheel style wheelie bar wheels.
Our “FBM” Floating Body Mount system is ultra-smooth and a minimization of “play” in the system was a point of emphasis in the design. The body mounts in the FBM system use our swivel pads to conform to the inside of the body for superior body support and mounting options.

Maverick
I bought this kit back in march and the build was awesome. The fit and finish of everything was perfect. The car didn’t require much shimming. All the clearances were perfect. I have been racing the car all year and the car is consistent , fast, and durable. The stuff this car drove back from is crazy. The customer service is amazing. If you have any questions you can email or message them on Facebook and they will get back to you quick. The owner is an open book. Me and my dad were at King of the Smokies and we met the owner, and he didn’t know us from Adam. We walked over to his pit and was asking him some questions; he asked where were we pitted at and he come over to our pit and helped us set up the car and gave us the same tune up he was running and told us what to adjust in tune up and he helped us all weekend with setup advice. That is amazing to see from a company that they make an awesome product and they just want to see the car succeed.

Ken really thought out this car kit, between everthing in the kit down to the service, Hands down AMAZING CAR!!! I have never seen A arms fit so perfectly without being shimmed. Don’t forget your aluminum hardware to set this off! GREAT Parts! even better service from Ken and Crystal!

The Maverick is a BEAST!
The first thing you will notice is that this cars quality is amazing. It is the nicest car out there hands down! But it only starts there. The base setup that comes with the car will get you competitive right away. Within just a few test sessions you will see that this car will help you win. PB's will come in waves!

I came from team GFRP and I will tell you this is the smoothest drag car kit I have ever build everything fits nice and tight but the best part of this build NO MISSING PARTS!!!!! Every part down to the screws was in the box
