The Talon Pro Mod is our 4th generation of 1/10th scale electric Pro Mod.
Chassis:
The Talon features a 3mm quasi carbon fiber chassis plate and 2.5mm quasi carbon fiber frame rails for a rock solid chassis platform that does not move out of alignment. The front end overhang was reduced by 6.35mm to increase the rear weight bias of the chassis for better traction. The overall front end width was increased 6mm to create a wider front to rear ratio for better stability at speed.
Drivetrain:
The foundation for the drivetrain is our Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V) titanium rear axle that is gun drilled to reduced rotating weight. Our .430 (43/10) gear set is machined from heat treated steel for durability. The Talon comes standard with a 5mm driveshaft for motors utilizing a 5mm motor shaft.
