DragRace Concepts is proud to announce their latest 1:10 scale electric inline Dragster, the Redline Top Fuel Dragster. As RC Drag Racing continues to evolve and push the boundaries on speed, more is demanded from the chassis to accommodate the ultra competitive racing is 3s Top Fuel Dragster. The engineering behind the Redline Top Fuel Dragster will ensure that it exceeds expectations and comes packed with a host of components and features to keep you on top.
As a predecessor to the DRC1V2 which has been a proven chassis platform in the highly competitive 3s Top Fuel Dragster class in IMDRA and RCDRL racing series. The Redline Top Fuel Dragster uses the base design of the DRC1V2 with updated features that have shown performance gains on the race track.
The most noticeable design upgrade is in the drivetrain portion of the chassis. The T5 titanium rear axle has been re-located to allow more ground clearance and create a more aggressive chassis stance. This increased chassis rake creates more front end weight bias to help keep the front of the car planted during runs while allowing the LIPO battery to be positioned farther back in the chassis to increase rear tire grip.
The use of smaller rear axle bearings increased rear axle RPM while reducing drag on the drivetrain. The (4) 1/4" x 3/8" rear axle bearing provide additional support needed to handle rear axle loads generated by 3s racing.
The motor mount has been changed to a "Block" style mount that features a circular bolt hole pattern to make installation and alignment of the motor easier than before.
