DragRace Concepts is proud to announce their latest 1:10 scale electric inline Pro Mod, the Redline Pro Mod. As RC Drag Racing continues to evolve and push the boundaries on speed, more is demanded from the chassis to accommodate the ultra competitive racing is 2s Pro Mod. The engineering behind the Redline Pro Mod will ensure that it exceeds expectations and comes packed with a host of components and features to keep you on top.
As a predecessor to the DRC1 which has been a proven chassis platform in the highly competitive 2s Pro Mod class in IMDRA and RCDRL racing series. The Redline Pro Mod uses the base design of the DRC1 with updated features that have shown performance gains on the race track.
The most noticeable design upgrade is in the aluminum rear pod design. The need for additional rear weight bias was accomplished by moving to an aluminum pod design vs a carbon fiber design. The aluminum pod design allows the rear axle and drivetrain to move up and down in the chassis to change the overall height of the drivetrain to suit different track conditions. The 2.5mm carbon fiber frame rails are tied directly into the rear aluminum pod to ensure the chassis is ultra-responsive at launch.
The use of smaller rear axle bearings increased rear axle RPM while reducing drag on the drivetrain. The (4) 1/4" x 3/8" rear axle bearing provide additional support needed to handle rear axle loads generated by 2s racing.
