The 2024 Maverick has been refined to be an even more dominate chassis platform in No Prep Drag Racing.
For 2024 we started with a new 3mm chassis plate profile that reduced the overall weight of the chassis plate by 15 grams.
The transmission was raised 3mm to decrease CVD shaft angle for a smoother drivetrain under acceleration while the motor was lowered 6mm to create a lower center of gravity for better acceleration and handeling at speed.
The addition of a motor support mount allows the motor plate to be tied directly to the chassis to reduce flex for high bite traction conditions or removed for low bite traction conditions where more chassis flex is needed.
66mm HD CVD shafts and our Outlaw HD rear axles come standard to handle high bite track conditions.
The new 4mm rear shock tower eliminates flex while the optimized shock location takes the guess work out of shock positioning.

Simply the Best!
I love my Mavericks and I wanted to give a review from the average users standpoint. My first introduction to pro outlaw racing was purchasing a used ‘23 Maverick from TEAM driver Lucas Harman. I showed up to the track bought the chassis and put my electronics in and went a 1.84 the first pass and eventually saw a high .6 that same day. To say the least I was a believer. I got the ‘24 kit as soon as it came out, fit and finish was remarkable, the build instructions were accurate and precise. I took my new build out to our first race day, set the ride heights and wheelie bar height, and made my first pass. I was shocked to see a 1.55 pass for the first time it touched the pavement. I should also add that my car is completely stock as the kit comes aside from bearings and carbon wheelie bar adjuster. Show me another kit that has no need for extras to be competitive. The most remarkable thing about the maverick is that it ALWAYS leaves hard and straight. Again, I’m a nobody against the big name NPRC guys and I know that as long as my ESC tune is correct the car is leaving hard and straight. I have never ran anything but a Maverick but I can honestly say I will never run anything else. The product quality, ease of assembly, and out box performance is second to none. I should also add that the Maverick paired with excelerate whites/purple pro foams on the their pro lite wide wheels is the cherry on top and is a killer combo on any surface. So if you’re new or seasoned this kit will propel you to the winners circle!

The wins speak for themselves, plain and simple. I’ve ran or had my hands on almost every car out there, and nothing compares to the fit & finish and the DURABILITY of this thing. Not only is it a missile, but it’s also a tank. The tolerances on every part are spot on. There’s no trimming, fitting, or massaging needed! Everything on the car is designed to be exactly what is needed and nothing less. There isn’t a whole bunch of extra stuff on it that makes it a pain to work on, either. Not to mention, unlike other cars out there, you don’t have to run out and buy a bunch of other stuff to make it competitive. The car is capable of winning any race out there, straight out of the box. Assembly instructions and the base setup sheet are easily accessible on the website. As for the base setup, don’t be surprised if you don’t have to change much, if anything. If you’re on the fence about picking one up, JUST DO IT!!! You won’t regret it!!!
